What Will You Learn?
The Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) is a professional undergraduate programme designed to prepare students for a rewarding career in rehabilitation and healthcare. The course combines in-depth academic learning with extensive clinical training, enabling students to assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of physical conditions through evidence-based physiotherapy interventions.
Throughout the programme, students gain a strong foundation in Anatomy, Physiology, Biomechanics, Exercise Therapy, Electrotherapy, Pathology, Pharmacology, Orthopaedics, Neurology, Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy, Paediatric Physiotherapy, Community-Based Rehabilitation, Research Methodology, and Clinical Practice.
A significant feature of the programme is its emphasis on practical learning. Students undergo clinical training in hospitals and rehabilitation centres under the guidance of experienced professionals, where they develop hands-on skills in patient assessment, treatment planning, rehabilitation, and health promotion.
The final six-month compulsory internship provides valuable real-world experience, allowing students to work with patients across various specialties and prepare for independent professional practice.
The BPT programme aims to produce knowledgeable, skilled, and compassionate physiotherapists who can help individuals restore movement, reduce pain, improve functional ability, and enhance their overall quality of life.
